AVIATION HERITAGE

Super Avi, the newest replica watch series from Breitling, is a celebration of aviation history with designs inspired by four legendary aircraft.

This Curtiss P-40 model draws its design inspiration from the Warhawk of the same name, which first flew in 1938 and quickly became known as a master of agility. Robust in structure, with the capacity for jaw-dropping turns, the aircraft was characterised by its defiant shark-mouth nose art, which reinforced its reputation as a rebel of the skies.

A true pilot’s watch, the Curtiss P-40 watch offers optimal grip for operation by gloved hands, sizeable numerals that can be spotted with ease, and an additional hand indicating a second time zone.

MADE FOR PILOTS

A chronometer certified by the COSC, this 46mm stainless steel model is presented on a brown leather strap with white topstitching to honour the seams found on classic flight gear.

Framed by a knurled bezel, the khaki green dial presents silver-tone hands, highly legible Arabic numerals, a date display, and three sub-dials. Pilots and other travellers will appreciate the ability to track a second time zone using the 24-hour marking on the inner bezel and the red tipped GMT hand.

Providing power and precision to this watch is Breitling B04 calibre movement.
